Burger & Sauce has today confirmed seven new restaurants will open over the next six months.

Sites in Leicester, Coventry, West Bromwich, Walsall, Derby, plus Bearwood road and Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham, will create around 140 jobs as the franchised brand expands across the Midlands.

Anthony Round, Franchise Director, Burger & Sauce confirms:

There was no-way of knowing how popular our fresh, tasty burgers would become when the first Burger & Sauce restaurant was created during the Pandemic.  Yet, despite challenging trading conditions, our Alum Rock site in Birmingham turned over £1.5 million in its first year! Since then, the concept has been well and truly proven with the success of our other franchised restaurants, including our most recent Nottingham launch. We offer fabulous fresh, fast-food at great value, and burgers are now set to be big business for our franchisees as they expand into new locations.

Burger & Sauce is also looking for new franchisees to join its growing operation.  Anthony Round confirms:

There is a huge opportunity to capitalise on the gap in the market we have identified for great tasting, fresh burgers which deliver value and appeal to a wide customer base. For the right, ambitious franchisees, we provide full training and ongoing support and marketing. Our site sourcing team works on securing high-profile restaurant locations and full store fit-out is arranged. Once the restaurant is ready to open, franchisees are simply handed the keys.

Burger & Sauce franchisees also benefit from the organisation’s bespoke technology which automates customer orders to make life easy for staff, while tech is also used to ensure supplies and ingredient storage is organised in the most efficient way possible. A marketing deal with UberEATS means ordering for delivery is made simple for customers too.

We have taken advantage of technology and designed the business from the bottom-up for efficiency and ease of operation. This means it’s easy to train staff and to scale up.  All of our existing franchisees have now signed multi-restaurant deals as we work towards our goal of becoming the house-hold name for fresh burgers in the UK.

For those interested in running a Burger & Sauce restaurant, exclusive territories are currently available around two hours’ drive from Birmingham.  A ten-year franchise licence is £15,000 plus store and fit-out costs and fees.  Multi-site development licences are also available for approved franchisees.
